Around the City! The Kings invention.

In a city, yet still the feeling of going back in time!
The main methods of transport in Bangkok, Tuk Tuk's and the river boats.

The General standing in the middle of Bangkok.

The Chaipattana Aerator.

This is an invention of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadejof Thailand.
Model RX - 2 is a low speed surface aerator and has simple form and principle of operation, but its capability of transferring oxygen to water is highly efficient. Consequently it can be used to solve water pollution problems in natural water sources suitably and conveniently.

His Majesty the King graciously instructed the Chaipattana Foundation to provide budgetary assistance for studies and researches while the Royal Irrigation Department responded to royal initiatives by studying, researching and developing this aerator to be a prototype for extensive use by the government sector as well as the general public.

In February 19993, the department of Intellectual property, Ministry of Commerce presented a patent for the Chiapattana Aerator to His Majesty the King. It was the first patent ever in Thailand and in the world, to be registered and granted to a Monarch.
