Khao San Dragon Procession

Khao San Road

So we arrived safely in Bangkok and headed straight down to Khao San Road. First things first, found a hotel, dropped off our bags and headed in fast forward speed to the nearest Boots store to find that overdue hairdryer.

Boots is now my moms favourite shop, we could dry our hair again.

Spend the evening looking all nice and walking up and down Khao San road inspecting every nook and cranny.

Ended off our evening with ice cream on the road side.

Next morning up bright and early only to find that there is a Dragon procession through the street. Very entertaining, we watched the parade whilst making our way down to the river boat and two trips on the sky train to reach the weekend market.

I have never been to a market bigger than this, the travel guide says even if you come to this market every weekend for a full year, you still will not be able to see everything.

A definite must to visit whilst in Bangkok...

Hundreds of colourfull taxis that line the street outside of the weekend market.
