Silk Market

Seething with shoppers and vendors who try their luck in getting every cent out of every tourist, Silk Street is where the silk market has repositioned itself. It is a bedlam of fake knockoffs from Gucci, Chanel, Coach, North Face, Converse to I-phones of what I like to refer to as Chi Phones.

It is floor upon floor of absolute chaos but it is a whole lot of fun. If you are looking for anything from fake brand clothing to cashmere, silk, tea, ceramics etc. This is the place to be. Haggle like hell and do not pay anything above 1/6'th of the original price quoted... :) :) :)

Subway map - just in case you get out from a different side of the Silk Market...

Local treats - Fruit dipped in a sugary hard candy. Like toffee apples back home. Yummeeeeeeeee!
