Canoeing under rock cliffs

The south of Thailand is famous for its carst like limestone cliffs. The area around Phang Nga bay is truly one of the most beautiful scenic areas to observe these magnificent rock structures in all their glory.
We decided to include this part of the are in our James Bond Exploration trip. Tannie Koekie remained on the big long tail taxi boat which do the big caves whilst me and my mum did the daring bit of getting on a small canoe, with a very talkative guide who tried to squeeze us through the smallest spaces he could find.

We had great fun!

7/11 on the water. They sell coke, sprite, fanta, ice tea and fresh coconuts... Yummeeeeeee!

Funny little walking fish!
Mango trees
