Phi Phi is not famous for beautiful sunsets, unless you make the effort to climb all the way up to viewpoint and even then you do not really see the sun set as it disappears behind the cliffs before it hits the horizon.
In Ao Nang nothing blocks the view and we got back from our James Bond Island tour just in time for Hagen Daz ice cream and to see the sun set over the bay.
